Relief efforts are being co-ordinated by the Governors office in New Jersey call 1-800-JERSEY-7 (1-800-537-7397). To help those affected in New York City the Mayors Office has asked those to register at NYC Service http://www.nyc.gov/html/nycservice/home.html.
