About Ação Moradia
Ação Moradia was founded with the goal of improving the quality of life of at-risk families through the construction of affordable housing.
Women and their families produce ecological bricks and build their own homes, which strengthens both family and community ties. Currently, Ação Moradia has developed community enterprises, projects to secure food for the community and to steer community engagement. Ação Moradia’s story began in 1993 in light of the extreme social disparities evident in communities on the outskirts of Uberlândia.
