About Moves for Life

Moves for Life unlocks the cognitive potential of South African children by structured implementation of chess education where essential aspects of the game are actively linked with math, science and lifeskill concepts. Learning fundamental concepts are made fun and exciting for the child.

They believe that every South African child has the potential to become a world class citizen. This is possible by improving the math, science and lifeskill comprehension and academic performance of the child.

Moves for Life has already been implemented, with great success at more than 70 schools. In 2011 more than 200 educators have been trained to teach kids the Moves for Life formula. More than 6000 school learners, all over SA, are effectively taught maths, science and life skills the Moves for Life way. The results are phenominal.

This integrated project, which encompasses not only education, but also sports and culture, leads to school learners developing a different attitude towards their school work.
