10x10, a feature film and a social action campaign, uses the power of storytelling and the leverage of strategic partnerships to deliver a single and potent message: educating girls in developing nations will change the world. 10x10 is committed to changing minds, lives and policy by building a global community of advocates focused on empowering girls.
By bringing together production and advocacy from the very outset, 10x10 is developing a new paradigm in social-issue filmmaking. The groundbreaking film tells the stories of 10 extraordinary girls from 10 countries. The dynamic campaign uses the emotional force of girls’ stories, and the reach of its corporate, NGO and grassroots partnerships, to touch global audiences, inspire individuals to act, and advocate for policies that will lead to transformational change.
Change minds: From corporate boardrooms to rural villages – through the corridors of power and social networks – 10x10 builds worldwide support for girls’ education by spreading the message about the value of educating girls.
Change lives: 10x10 partners with organizations with proven track records of educating girls. They support 10x10 with their experience and knowledge; 10x10 supports them by telling the stories of their work for girls and directing donations to their programs.
Change Policy: 10x10 partners with policy leaders to influence governments and global institutions to enact and enforce laws to ensure that every girls has the opportunity to fulfill her full potential.
Educating girls will … reduce poverty, reduce child mortality, reduce population growth, reduce HIV infection rates, reduce corruption. Educating girls will change the world.
