Silence is one of the greatest challenges in the fight against domestic violence, a crime that affects mainly women. Chegando Perto is a pilot project of SOS Ação Mulher Família de Uberlândia that will offer psychological, legal, and social assistance to victims of violence at the Basic Family Health Care Center of Uberlândia, which attends about 4,000 patients.
